Studio Origami completes the majority of Form’s architecturally designed custom dwellings.
This unique design is the result of the architect’s vision for her own family home, developed in collaboration with the Form team to meet a very tight budget and short timeframe.
Energy efficiency, cost effectiveness and the development of a stylish product to show off her craft were the pillars of this project. The ability to stage the project whilst the family lived in the home was essential and designing to meet BAL 29 bushfire requirements was also a key requirement.
The result is a spacious, nearly 400m2 family home built over two levels with architectural detailing throughout, which will be built within a matter of months and without the expensive site works traditionally associated with a brick build construction on a challenging block such as this one.
